A Portrait That Becomes Part of the Family
There’s nothing quite like living with a portrait of a beloved pet — the familiar expression, the gleam in their eyes, the personality you know so well. I specialise in oil paintings that celebrate the character and spirit of animals, creating portraits that feel alive and full of presence. Whether as a heartfelt gift or a keepsake to treasure for years to come, each portrait is painted with care, observation and affection.
While my current focus is on pet portraits in oils, I also accept commissions for people portraits on request — simply mention it in your enquiry.

How the Commission Process Works
Enquiry & Quote
Submit your form with your pet’s details and photos. I’ll confirm availability and pricing based on size and number of pets.
Composition Confirmation
I’ll send a digital sketch or mock-up of the pose and crop. One round of tweaks is included before painting begins.
50% Deposit to Secure Your Slot
Once the composition is approved, a non-refundable 50% deposit secures your commission.
Artwork Creation
This is where the magic happens — brush by brush, your pet’s character emerges on canvas!
Final Viewing & Minor Tweaks
I’ll send a photo of the finished portrait. You’re welcome to request one minor adjustment if needed.
Final Payment & Drying Time
Once approved, the remaining 50% balance is due. Oil paint needs around 7 days to dry before it’s safe to package.
Delivery
Your portrait is securely wrapped and dispatched. UK delivery is included — international shipping is quoted separately.
