Description
I painted this en plein air while visiting family in the Cotswolds one windy April morning. The fields rolled away in soft, undulating lines, their patchwork of greens and golds divided by a row of bare-branched trees stretching across the horizon. In the foreground, a few curious sheep grazed, their quiet presence grounding the shifting light and movement of the day. I wanted to capture that feeling of early spring — the freshness in the air, the energy in the landscape, and the simple beauty of a moment shaped by wind and light.
